In this batch, I ordered a walnut frame and several maple frames from Dimitri, and was able to stock up on a few frames this way due to their incredible value. Beyond their value though, is the sheer craftsmanship used in their production. I'm finding the corners perfectly mitered, and all dimensions carefully met. My paintings fit like a glove in them, and the frames give the professional appearance and structural protection I'm wanting. I am loathe to sell anything these days that is not varnished and framed, since I insist on the protection these two things offer. Buying frames for all these paintings would normally be out of reach financially, but at Vermont Hardwood Frames, I'm able to realize this desire. They still cost something, but that cost is within reach, and the results are worth every penny.
This is the highest quality framed I’ve bought from anywhere on the internet. The seller was even able to customize the frame for me in a way that my thin canvas could fit in a deep frame.
Fantastic frame - perfect for my aquaboard watercolors
Our frame is wonderful and looks so great with the art installed. Dimitri was very responsive and communicative during the process. The frame arrived quickly despite being custom made.
Dimitri made me a custom 52x34” frame. The frame is fabulous and I really enjoyed the process of finalizing details with Dimitri. He is very helpful and accommodating and it’s clear that he cares about making customers happy. Even though my frame was large it was expertly packaged and arrived in perfect condition.
Dimitri was great! Such good communication and easy to work with for custom framing! Great quality frames! Highly recommend!
Beautiful frames, easy customization, and prompt communication and delivery.
Dmitri is a master craftsman! This frame is so lovely and elevated my painting so well! will be a return customer.
customer service is off the charts amazing!
Our frame is just beautiful. We spoke with Dimitri a few times and he was more than willing to be of help.
Purchased a float frame for a large canvas in a custom size and wood species. Dmitri was incredibly fast and detailed with his responses and even provided a 3d mockup of the frame to confirm all dimensions. Installation was also very easy (though I did find it easier using some pieces of cardboard instead of the typically recommended deck of cards to help with spacing)!
I can't speak highly enough about Dimitri's attention to craft and customer service. I'm very particular about quality of framing as an artist who presents my work in galleries and museum spaces. Dimitri created an entire exhibition's worth of frames for me that met my very high standards of craftsmanship. They arrived on time and packaged with care. The price for the quality you receive with his frames is the best I've found, and I've done extensive research to land on Vermont Hardwood Frames. Dimitri has become my go-to framer for all float frames moving forward.
This frame is well made and beautifully crafted. Dimitri kept in touch and always checked for clarification to ensure that he was making the frame exactly how I wanted. Excellent service and frame..
Incredible customer service! I wasn’t sure where to start, but knew I wanted a special floating frame for a large canvas travel map. I asked loads of questions and when I wasn’t sure on certain details, Dimitri went above and beyond to answer my questions and help decide the best measurements for this large frame. Our frame was thoughtfully packaged and arrived in perfect, ready-to-hang condition. The wood is gorgeous and I love the little spline details. 10/10! I would absolutely recommend this store and seller!
The frame is beautiful, well-crafted, and looks very classy. Dimitri was very helpful & communicative when discussing the details of the custom frame sizing
Beautiful well-crafted frame. Thank you!
I am so pleased and will be ordering again. Communication and clarification was specific. The craftsmanship is excellent and will make my artwork stand out in the gallery. I’m attaching a few photos.Thank you Dimitri, Sarah, Molly, Abigail, Guppy, Isaac, and Caboodle!
This was the 3rd frame I have ordered from Dimitri. Excellent service and love the frame! I highly recommend
Dimitri was so helpful. He helped me choose the perfect frames for my canvas art work. The quality is outstanding. Arrived on time, packaged with care and came with instructions to hang. I highly recommend them. I was not sure what wood to choose. I sent pictures and he was so helpful in providing ideas based on experience. Highly recommend!
Best experience I’ve ever had on Etsy. Dimitri designed a custom frame to my specs, sent me a 3D mockup, built it and then hand delivered it (I’m in VT). The frame is amazing quality, and frankly was half the price of a veneer(!) frame at the local frame shop. Thanks Dimitri
Worked with me on the exact size I needed. Excellent!
This frame is beautifully made! My only qualm is that the color is significantly darker than the first few pictures on the item listing so it does not match the other frames where I wanted to hang a piece of art. I would recommend updating the pictures on the listing bc the wood looks so much lighter and warmer in those pictures compared to real life
Very beautifully made frames. Very courteous shop. Thank you!
The first frame I was sent had several issues due to the shipping company according to the seller. However, once I reached out to Dimitri, he remedied the situation quickly and with graciousness. I don't think you can go wrong buying a frame from VT Harwood Frames!
I am blown away by Dimitri's customer service and the quality of his frames. I needed a custom canvas for a commissioned painting and Dimitri was able to recommend materials, sizes, and even provide me with mockups, all in a very timely manner. The quality craftsmanship of his frames is evident. I will be buying more frames in the future!
